GB Oils have used OHES on a number of projects, in addition to any of those that are associated with insurance claims, and have always been very pleased with the high quality of the work produced, and the competitive pricing. They are always willing to work to whatever timescales have been laid out for them. We even had one project where the deadline was moved up by almost 2 weeks from what was originally conveyed in the instruction, and they worked very hard to get us as much information as possible to allow us to proceed with our internal project. The final reports followed shortly thereafter, still before the original deadline.

First of all I would like to say how impressed with this report I am! I was half expecting a rather rushed looking thing considering the timescale but it’s all presented very neatly! The figures are really useful and clear, so much better than the documents I’ve seen so far. You seem to have picked out the important messages from the documents you were given and it’s really good you acknowledge the discrepancies from these docs too.

Having worked with OHES on wetland restoration projects involving Loch of Kinnordy and Vane Farm I can confirm that we are very pleased with the services offered. In both cases OHES worked in partnership with RSPB at all stages of the project including participating in meetings with the statutory agencies. The partnership extended from the start of the project with constructive debate on how to create a work programme that delivered objectives within the budgets set,through to end of project tweaking of reports etc to get the nuances of what can be quite complex pieces of work sorted out. In all cases OHES brought practicality and flexibility to the table and added value to what we were doing through their ecologically based approach.
