Environmental Impact Assessments
Some projects require an assessment of the effects that the proposed development is likely to have on the environment. For many large scale projects the potential to damage the environment is often apparent, but some smaller scale projects in sensitive areas can also have a substantial environmental impact. EIA is the process by which these impacts are assessed, with one of the most crucial stages being the identification of remediation or compensation measures.
