Residential development on a former petrol filling station

A large residential development was halted mid-way through construction when underground fuel storage tanks and contaminated soils and vapours were encountered.

 

At short notice, OHES's environmental consultants undertook investigations to define the type and extent of contamination and developed a remediation strategy.
